Before you book

A guide is mandatory: No one snorkels the sanctuary unaccompanied. Guides are accredited and assigned at the entrance hut.
Rates are per person: Siquijor residents, students, seniors and PWDs qualify for reduced tiers. Bring valid identification.
Equipment is separate: Masks, snorkels, fins and vests are rented from the hut and are not included in the package price.
Swimming ability matters: The reef trail runs about 200 m offshore in 6–20 ft of water. The mangrove and seagrass zones stay shallow.
Reef-safe sunscreen only: Standard sunscreens bleach coral. Bring a mineral-based product, or cover up instead.
Take nothing: Shells, coral and starfish stay where they are. Lifting a starfish out of the water suffocates it.
